When you go to launch the game through Frosty Mod Manager, it will have a couple tabs on the active mods section on the right. Like I mentioned above, make sure there are no mod conflicts. Make sure that isn't changed, because it can fuck it all up and was probably one of my many problems. I have no idea how it happened, but my first install renamed it to "FrostModManager" when it should be "FrostyModManager". Your Frosty Mod Manager folder may be misnamed. A space needs to be between -datapath and the first " " mark as well.
It doesn't matter how you have your game installed, you just need to paste the correct path in the " " marks or it won't work. You will probably have a different letter drive, you might not have made a Games folder etc. Your game install folder might be, and likely is different. Following OP's instructions, your pasted command line argument in Origin should look like this: -datapath "D:\Games\STAR WARS Battlefront II\ModData" Some possible problems and solutions you might be facing. The game SHOULD now work with the mods, if they don't, it might be a mod conflict which is an entirely different issue. Click LAUNCH and wait the 30 minutes it takes for the game to load through MULTIPLE fucking launchers. Activate them so they show up on the right. Put the Frosty Mod Manager folder back in the game folder if it removed it. Open Origin, Right-Click SWBF2, Click Repair Files, wait. You don't want to have to redownload mods either. Place it on the desktop in case the repair removes it. However, after repairing them, ONLY using the Frosty Mod Manager and launching it as an ADMIN while using OP's instructions, it finally worked.Ĭopy the Frosty Mod Manager folder from your game folder. Apparently, whether it was because of me tinkering BEFORE I saw this thread, or me fucking with Vortex earlier, some files got corrupted and messed up. I was having the same issue as most of these comments, despite doing everything "correctly," or so I thought.
